What an age we live in, where a six-core processor can be had for this low price. The CPU hasn’t got the most exciting turbo speeds around, but it’ll keep your work flow moving quickly, particularly when multitasking.

A 256GB SSD and 2TB HDD is a nice combination that’ll suit almost any office task you can think of.

The case is somewhat bland and dull, so ideal for an office environment.

The one criticism we’d have about this system is the single 8GB memory stick. This’ll starve the CPU of memory bandwidth as there isn’t a dual channel memory configuration to take advantage of. It’s not a deal breaker but could slow heavily threaded CPU tasks. It does however make an upgrade to 16GB of RAM easy later.
