As you can see from the photos, I use multiple computers at the same time, including a personally built PC, mac mini, Linux server (Centos OS 7) and a few Raspberry PI’s.

I spent around 9 months saving and deciding on the computer hardware, before purchasing the parts for the main PC, which I built myself in August 2016.

MOST IMPRESSIVE ELEMENTS:

• ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1080 Strix

Gaming video card • 4K display • Lots of storage, including using the Samsung 950 Pro 512GB M.2 SSD as the boot drive • Hauppauge Win TV QUAD HD TV Tuner – as I enjoy watching TV, especially sport whilst working or playing games on the computer.

WHAT MAKES MY PC SO SPECIAL?

It’s not just the one computer, but a connected system, with the ability to use one mouse and keyboard to control multiple computers. I use the software Synergy, which provides a free and paid version (see symless.com/synergy/). ). The software even allows you to cut and paste text and web links from one computer to another.

1. Such an elegant machine. Pity it’s an Apple product. 2. Corsair’s new line of cases certainly look nice. 3. One day we will upgrade to 4K 4. I think you need a few more monitors, mate. You must be short on screen real estate. 5. What are you running on your Pi? 6. No gratuitous suck up magazine stack, but the TIE Fighter is pretty cool.
