loves esports so much, they’re open­ing their own ded­i­cated arena for such ac­tiv­i­ties in Bur­bank, Los An­ge­les. Bliz­zard Arena Los An­ge­les will be home for esports events of Bliz­zard games such as Over­watch Con­tenders, Hearth­stone, He­roes of the Storm, World of War­craft and the Over­watch League. The 4650-square me­tre arena will seat 450 peo­ple and con­tain three stu­dio spa­ces, prac­tice fa­cil­i­ties for com­pet­ing teams, mul­ti­ple sound stages and two con­trol rooms - pro­vid­ing a world class fa­cil­ity not just for broad­cast pur­poses, but for spec­ta­tors too. Bliz­zard said it will also open a re­tail store at Bliz­zard Arena Los An­ge­les with avail­able mer­chan­dise ro­tat­ing based on the com­pe­ti­tions tak­ing place at the time. Bliz­zard Arena Los An­ge­les will of­fi­cially open in early Oc­to­ber and will be chris­tened with the Over­watch Con­tenders Sea­son 1 play­offs.
