@ I’ve got a 2005 Astra SRi CDTi which has had a few chas­sis tweeks and a big brake kit fit­ted so it’s quite good for a bit of sport on the back roads but that’s all point­less as my lights are crap! I’ve been look­ing at up­grades and I don’t know whether to get HIDs or maybe fit higher power bulbs? My mate reck­oned a cou­ple of Ci­bie Os­cars but that’s overkill! Cheers. Paul.

AAs light tech­nol­ogy in new cars pro­gresses, older cars are left look­ing like they have a cou­ple of Ikea tea lights flick­er­ing away. Like all up­grades, there’s no point spend­ing huge money on some mir­a­cle part when the rest is a bit tired and worn out.
