THE pharmacy profession and related stakeholders are being urged to have their say on the review of the accreditation standards for pharmacy degrees and intern training programs.
The current standards are due for a review to reflect the current and future needs of the profession and the public.
Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) CEO Bronwyn Clark said it was important all pharmacy prac oners, trainees, students, pharmacy educators, program administrators, other health professionals and the public submitted to the review and influenced the quality of prepara on for pharmacists as contemporary health service prac oners.
“The development of accreditation standards has a significant impact on the future of pharmacist training and the standard and quality of pharmacy that emerges post university and intern training,” Clark said.
