ALYN’S verdict

Photo Plus - - The Apprentice -

Thomas was a confident photographer and has some top kit in his 1D Mk II and 11-24mm wide-angle lens to help capture cracking astro shots, as this great shot shows here. He can comfortably shoot at ISO5000 without fear of noise ruining the astro shot. It was well past midnight by now and Thomas’s compositions had really improved, as he’s positioned the tower on the right and Milky Way in the night sky on the left. The yellowish light on the horizon is not the sun as some might think, but light pollution from Bridgend and Porthcawl over ten miles away.
