The UK enjoys a variety of bird species, many of which are regular visitors to the typical UK garden. From blackbirds and robins, to blue tits and wrens, the problem photographers are faced with though is how to get framefilling shots without scaring these often skittish subjects away. The good news is that it’s not as difficult as you may imagine and to stack the odds in your favour. I’m going to run through some tips and tricks that’ll improve your practical approach and your camera technique for bird shoots.
