Down the rabbit hole

St Luke’s College students’ performance of Alice in Wonderland was well received by a full house over two nights in the gymnasium at the weekend.

Director Nina Usher adapted the script and added her own flavour to create a unique experience for audiences to enjoy.

“It is a huge relief and very exciting to see it all come together,” she said.

“We had a few moments where we were worried we wouldn’t be able to sell out, but it has just surpassed mine and I think the audience’s expectations.”

Jazz Van Dongen, who played the role of Alice, said she had met a lot of fun people on the set.
