Nickol Bay Speedway will play host to some of the biggest names in racing this Saturday night, thanks to a last-minute event thrown together to attract drivers coming back from Darwin.

Jolly Good Auto managing director Trevor Jolly brought the event together and put $3000 prize money up for WA drivers making their way home from the Australian 360 Sprintcar title at Northline Speedway.

Jolly said Ryan Farrell was likely to hit the track fresh from winning the Australian sprintcar title.

“It was just a good opportunity for them to stop by as they were already going past,” he said.

Wingless, limited and 410 sprintcars, as well as stocks and junior sedans, are anticipated to drive in support.

Racing will start about 6.30pm.
