School art cel­e­brates Roe­bourne

■ The com­mu­nity was treated to a colour­ful gallery of stu­dent art at Roe­bourne Dis­trict High School’s sec­ond All-School Arts Ex­hi­bi­tion last week.

Par­ents were in­vited to cre­ate art pieces along­side their chil­dren at des­ig­nated sta­tions through­out the school pre-show.

Boon­deru Mu­sic Academy warmed up the crowd with orig­i­nal tunes on the guitar and drums and the au­di­ence then de­lighted in an orig­i­nal play, Fol­low Their Foot­steps, per­formed by stu­dents from kinder­garten to Year 9.

Fol­low Their Foot­steps was cre­ated un­der the men­tor­ship of IF Foun­da­tion fa­cil­i­ta­tor Ann Monique Lough­bor­ough.

IF Foun­da­tion fa­cil­i­ta­tor Ariana Pa­ganetti said the evening was about cel­e­brat­ing Roe­bourne.

The IF Foun­da­tion is in its sec­ond res­i­dency at Roe­bourne Se­nior High School.
