Park pass price discount
The Department of Parks and Wildlife is slashing popular national parks pass prices — for the right customer.
DPaW has made a deal with insurance company RAC to offer a 50 per cent discount on popular park passes for RAC members.
DPaW director-general Jim Sharp said the aim was to get West Australians out enjoying nature. “The State’s stunning 13 marine parks and 100 national parks are world-renowned for their distinct biodiversity and scenic landscapes,” he said.
“From the tropical north and picturesque marine environments of the Mid West, to the majestic karri and marri forests of the South West and rugged coastal peaks of the golden outback, WA’s environment offers something to suit everyone, from bushwalking and mountain biking to bird watching and picnicking.”
Revenue from park pass sales will be used to conserve the parks and maintain visitor facilities.
