DJs bring the beat to Karratha
■ After a six-month hiatus, local events company Distorted Noize is bringing two of Perth’s hottest DJs to play at the ibis Styles Hotel in Karratha.
Futuristic and Beyond Tha Noize will feature at the Silent Disco and Cocktail Night on October 24 as part of their Next Level Tour along the WA coast.
Incorporating catchy dance floor filling vocals to groovy bass house sounds, Futuristic is the new project between two young producers looking to combine the best elements of different genres into a unique sound.
The Futuristic lads have put together tracks from 50 Cent’s If I Can’t and David Zowie’s House Every Weekend for what is shaping up to be an epic set in Karratha.
Beyond Tha Noize are a new Australian electronic dance music duo, Richard Sacilotto and Thomas Dodd.
The boys have been on an upward trajectory of success this year, headlining overseas shows, topping the dance charts on triple J Unearthed and playing alongside some of the biggest DJs in the music scene.
Event organiser Adam Hankinson said the event was shaping up to be one of Distorted Noize’s biggest shows of the year.
“We also have a stack of giveaways happening, including bar cards and a free night’s accommodation at the ibis Styles,” he said.
Futuristic and Beyond Tha Noize will be supported by Corey David and a stellar range of local acts.
The Next Level Tour Silent Disco and Cocktail Night is on Saturday, October 24 from 8pm.
Tickets are $10 at the door before 9pm and $20 until midnight.
