Wick­ham Recre­ation Precinct is cel­e­brat­ing its first birth­day with a com­mu­nity open day on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 17.

Head along from 8-10am and try out the launch of Les Mills classes at the Com­mu­nity Hall, in­clud­ing RPM, GRIT, PUMP and Sh’Bam.

En­try to these classes will be free and chil­dren, aged 0-9 years, can be pre-booked into the Come and Try play pro­gram ses­sion in the Ameni­ties Build­ing be­tween 8-10am while you ex­er­cise.

The qual­i­fied WRP staff have planned ac­tiv­i­ties to cater for all but places are lim­ited and chil­dren must be en­rolled to at­tend.

Pool en­try will be free from 9am un­til noon with prizes and give­aways, an aqua run and pool games.

Lo­cal sports clubs are fundrais­ing with bar­be­cue-style break­fasts and the health and well­ness stalls, and the CSSU kids play zone will keep ev­ery­one en­ter­tained.
