Get close to iconic in­ven­tions

If you haven’t vis­ited Cos­sack and ex­pe­ri­enced the ge­nius of Leonardo da Vinci, now is the time.

The fan­tas­tic Da Vinci Ma­chines Ex­hi­bi­tion is in full swing, with just two week­ends left to ex­plore the work­ings of the in­ven­tor’s most iconic work.

More than 60 ma­chines make up the ex­hi­bi­tion, many of which al­low visi­tors to get up close and try them.

All in­ven­tions are ac­com­pa­nied by de­scrip­tion pan­els ex­plain­ing the con­cepts be­hind the works and a bit of the piece’s history.

Dig­i­tal prints of some of da Vinci’s most fa­mous art­works are also on dis­play, in­clud­ing The Last Supper and Mona Lisa. The ex­hibit is open from 10am to 3pm ev­ery Fri­day, Satur­day and Sun­day un­til Oc­to­ber 25 and en­try costs $7.50 a per­son.

The ex­hi­bi­tion is pre­sented by the City of Kar­ratha and Rio Tinto with sup­port from of­fi­cial drive part­ner, SEW Euro­drive. The ex­hi­bi­tion is cre­ated by the Ar­ti­sans of Florence — In­ter­na­tional in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Nic­co­lai Group (Firenze) and the Mu­seum of Leonardo da Vinci.
