■ Any Pilbara millionaires with some loose change and an interest in health could pick themselves up a medical centre in Karratha for the right price.

Sonic HealthPlus Centre West on Warambie Road is a two-storey building and houses several health service providers, with Sonic on the lower floor and the Rural Clinical School of WA Karratha and a clinical psychologist on the upper.

It has been on the market since July and is going for a selling price of $3.8 million.

Clinic manager Joeline Biancuzzo said the agreement with the owner was for whoever takes over the building to maintain all current leases.

“As far as I’m aware, Sonic Health is definitely not going anywhere,” she said.

Sonic is one of a handful of healthcare centres in Karratha, soon to be joined by the GP Super Clinic scheduled for completion by January.

It’s the only specialised occupational health centre in town. Mrs Biancuzzo said plans to build the Karratha Heath Campus across the road from the centre would not affect business because the hospital would not provide occupational health services.

Ray White Karratha is the realtor for the sale and agent Shane Smith can be contacted on 0429 452 641 for interested parties.
