Junior cricketers in Karratha participated in a Milo Twenty20 Blast cricket carnival at the Karratha Leisureplex late last month.

The carnival featured 120 players competing in 15 teams from five schools in a round-robin format that saw teams play three games each.

St Pauls Primary team 1 won the boys division and the Millars Well team 1 won the girls division.

Spokesman Nathaniel Kett said the games were assisted by parents with a focus on participation.

He said schools and teachers also deserved thanks for their assistance in scoring and umpiring.

Winners received a Scorchers shirt signed by Brad Hogg.
