■ Laminex has unveiled its 2016 Colour Palette, with 20 designs added to the range.

“Our design team has chosen each decor through an extensive global, colour-selection process, combined with local research, to help our customers bring leading trends to life,” Laminex marketing manager Joanna Baker said.

The result is warm wood grains, veined stone and greys.

Ms Baker said the update not only reflected global design trends but was tailored to the needs of Australian homeowners.

“The way people use their spaces is changing,” she said.

“More than ever, people are demanding a higher level of functionality without wanting to compromise on striking good looks.”

The increased focus on functionality includes the addition of Protec+ antimicrobial technology for improved hygiene.

“Protec+ is our answer.”
