Mobile coverage fix
If you live in an area with tepid mobile coverage, now is the time to do something about it.
The Federal Government is urging Kimberley residents to nominate areas which need better mobile coverage as it rolls out round two of the national mobile black spot program.
Locations will be added to a national database and form part of a competitive selection process where telcos will nominate sites to build new or upgraded stations.
Durack MP Melissa Price said mobile phone black spots were hugely important for regional communities and the Federal Government had committed $60 million to round two.
Selected locations will be announced by the end of next year. Nominations close on December 21 and can be made at communications.gov.au/blackspots or emailed to Ms Price at Melissa.Price.MP @aph.gov.au.
