Pilbara News - - News - Tom Zaunmayr

commercial land in Karratha’s CBD has been opened up by LandCorp for development.

The two properties, a 2604sqm lot on Balmoral Road and a strata unit on Warambie Road, have come on to the market at asking prices of $1.3 million and $682,000, respectively.

Ray White Karratha managing director Richard Naulls said there had already been interest in both sites.

“There have been a lot more sales activity in commercial and residential due to affordable prices now, as well as more interest from a rental point of view,” he said.

LandCorp chief executive Frank Marra said both sites were highly visible and accessible.

“The recent completion of the connection of Karratha Terrace to Balmoral Road has opened up an exciting commercial land opporturambie nity for a new business or existing company that wants to build premises in the heart of the city,” he said.

“The serviced retail/commercial site has frontage to three roads and has significant passing traffic.

“Similarly, the strata unit on WaMore Road is ideally located and offers 292sqm of open warehouse space which fronts on to the extended Karratha Terrace.”

Mr Marra said the achievement of milestones such as the extension of Karratha Terrace was already paying dividends to support Karratha’s economic growth.
