Have a thought for furry pals

Pilbara News - - Opinion - Annette Meager, Exmouth

I am so disappointed with some Exmouth residents.

I have repeatedly seen people walking their dogs in the heat of the day.

You can see the distress on the dogs’ faces, panting and needing a drink, not to mention how hot it is on the concrete they are being walked on.

Dogs do not sweat like we do, they do it through panting.

People walk to the shops with their dogs, chain them to a pole and go about doing their shopping without leaving them a drink. This really upsets me to see. If you are going to walk your dog, please do it before the sun comes up, or after sundown.

Come on, people — have a thought for your furry family member.
