Chi­nese-style stir-fry with plums

6 plums, halved and stone re­moved 250g beef strips 3 cloves gar­lic, crushed 3cm ginger, grated 1 tbsp oil 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp plum sauce

Method

Heat oil in wok or fry­ing pan over high heat. Cook beef un­til well-browned on both sides. Add gar­lic, ginger and bok choy. Stir fry un­til bok choy is just cooked, adding soy sauce when re­quired. Add plums and plum sauce, and gen­tly stir un­til plums are warmed through. Serve im­me­di­ately with noo­dles or rice.
