DPAW and Murujuga Rangers raised concerns last week after a large patch of graffiti was found in Murujuga National Park. Locals didn’t seem too pleased either. Ignorant, insensitive and deliberately disrespectful behaviour!

Seems everyone had fond memories to share of their cyclone surf experiences in the wake of ex-tropical cyclone Stan. I’ve seen bigger swell then that up there during a cyclone. But good to see people still surfing while a cyclone is about.
George Jr Varnavas This is where I lived for two years and you only get to surf a couple times a year when it’s hollowing cyclonic conditions.
