Expos offer a taste of sports on offer
The City of Karratha FUTURE CLUBS Club Development Program will include two junior community sports expos next month, giving children 6-15 years old a chance to experience a number of sports available in the city.
At each expo, children will be split into similar age groups and take part in a number of drills and games delivered by coaches, parents and players from various local sporting groups.
The first expo will be held in Karratha at Leisureplex Oval Three on Friday, March 18 from 4pm to 7pm, and the second will be at Wickham Oval on Saturday, March 19 from 8am to 11am.
The expos are free, but registration is required.
All children must attend with a parent or guardian who is able to actively supervise throughout the expo. Parents and guardians are also welcome to join in.
To register, head to www.karratha.wa.gov.au or contact club development officer Natalie May on 9186 8555 or firstname.lastname@example.org. gov.au.
Children’s football drills will be part of the junior community sports expos.
