Ex­pos of­fer a taste of sports on of­fer

The City of Kar­ratha FU­TURE CLUBS Club De­vel­op­ment Pro­gram will in­clude two ju­nior com­mu­nity sports ex­pos next month, giv­ing chil­dren 6-15 years old a chance to ex­pe­ri­ence a num­ber of sports avail­able in the city.

At each expo, chil­dren will be split into sim­i­lar age groups and take part in a num­ber of drills and games de­liv­ered by coaches, par­ents and play­ers from var­i­ous lo­cal sport­ing groups.

The first expo will be held in Kar­ratha at Leisure­plex Oval Three on Fri­day, March 18 from 4pm to 7pm, and the se­cond will be at Wick­ham Oval on Satur­day, March 19 from 8am to 11am.

The ex­pos are free, but reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired.

All chil­dren must at­tend with a par­ent or guardian who is able to ac­tively su­per­vise through­out the expo. Par­ents and guardians are also wel­come to join in.
