Katz win by whisker right on the buzzer

Pardoo Katz chalked up their second shock win against #Yogetit since coming back from the break in round 21, with a deciding goal in the very last second of play.

Second A-grade side #Yogetit were far from pleased to lose to the bottom-placed Katz back in round 18, and this game was even closer.

With one minute left they looked clear at four points up, but the Katz struck back with a three-pointer, followed by a desperate twopointer as the siren sounded. It got them over the line by one point against their disappointed opponents.

The Coral Trouts couldn’t manage their own surprise win against Mayuga Majik, who were in fine form and dominated throughout.

The Vipers handed a depleted Thunder side only their second, and by far biggest, loss of the season in men’s B-grade. The top team were low on players and looked flat, and the second-placed Vipers capitalised. Thunder were held to five points for most of the game and were beaten 29-15.

Meanwhile, top-four rivals Cardinals and Warriors put on a fastpaced thriller.

The Warriors barely registered on the scoreboard in the first half while the Cardinals fired in attack, but they came storming back from behind in the second and were drawn with five minutes left.

Both teams dug deep but Cardinals got the crucial points needed to win, 28-23. The Heat defeated Cy- clone’s men 39-32 and the Titans beat the Flakers.

In women’s B-grade, Hello Trouts had a good win against the Blazers, and Goat Trouts beat Sinners by only two points.

Just Us blitzed Timeout and Mud Flaps defeated the Falcons.
