The Australian Bureau of Statistics is looking for 24 people to fulfil its most unique roles in the 2016 Census workforce.
Up to six remote area mobile team leaders and 18 members will travel WA’s most remote regions to recruit, train and manage up to four locally based field staff to make sure everyone completes a Census form correctly.
RAMT members will visit a number of remote Aboriginal communities across WA, as well as pastoral stations, mining camps, roadhouses and national parks.
Applicants must have good knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander community protocols and demonstrated cultural awareness.
Applications close February 21 at www.abs.gov.au/census.
