People were glowing in their praise of Pilbara Wildlife Carers after the group released a sea eagle which had undergone nearly 1000 days of rehab this month.
This lady is a legend in Karratha and has spent many, many years saving wildlife. You must be sad, Rose, but also extremely proud. The world needs more people like you.

. Plans for the future of Gregory’s Gorge were unveiled last week to mixed reactions from the public. People need to stop whinging and respect the local indigenous culture and what they are trying to achieve. Good to see someone investing time and money to promote tourism in the region, something the area needs to focus on since the resources boom has ended. I don’t mind paying to go out there providing receipts are issued and proceeds go to helping the community with education etc.
Mark Wood. That’s all well and fine but some of us locals just want to continue using it the way it was, ie an awesome spot not overcrowded with a nice 4x4 track.
