Whether writ­ing for fun or for a cause, “From a Dream to a Book: An Oceans of En­ergy Writ­ing Work­shop” by au­thor, bi­og­ra­pher and east­ern health prac­ti­tioner Va­lerie Al­brecht may be just what as­pir­ing writ­ers need to hone their skills and take their work to the next level.

Va­lerie’s work­shop of­fers the op­por­tu­nity to ex­plore and clar­ify your writ­ing dream, while pro­vid­ing writ­ing tools and tech­niques to broaden, in­spire and in­crease con­fi­dence in one­self and your work.

Ar­eas cov­ered will in­clude vi­sion-board­ing your book, writ­ing through the senses, writ­ing be­hind the words, points of view and char­ac­ter de­vel­op­ment.

This work­shop is suit­able for peo­ple in­ter­ested in any genre.

“From a Dream to a Book” will be held on Satur­day, March 12, 9am-1.30pm at the Kar­ratha Pub­lic Li­brary.

Book­ing is es­sen­tial as spa­ces are lim­ited.
