The Karratha City shopfront of newly rebranded business Everywhere Travel and Cruise was the site of the first Business After Hours event of 2016 for the Karratha and Districts Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event had a big turnout with more than 100 professionals in attendance and had a focus on strengthening local business ties.

Everywhere Travel, formerly called Helloworld North West, and the Karratha Kats Football and Sporting Club co-hosted the networking evening.

KDCCI president John Lally gave the opening address and said collaboration between local businesses was key to boosting the area’s economy.

Everywhere Travel owner Cassie Perry said her company had been sure to do that during its rebranding.

“We are proud to have used talented local businesses to help with the design and installation of our new store branding,” she said.

“It’s all about sticking together and helping each other to get through these times.”

Each of the host companies sponsored prizes and Amanda Ewin and Gavin Canning were the lucky winners on the night.
