My harmless little flutter and the many ways I save

Pilbara News - - Opinion - Ken Saligari, Exmouth

They reckon Australians are addicted to gambling.

I like to have a bet on the nags at the weekend.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But I don’t buy takeaway coffee at $6. I do buy takeaway beer. I don’t waste money on dining out or takeaway food, nor do I buy tickets to the footy or shows. I don’t buy new clothes, my friend cuts my hair, I don’t own a mobile phone, iPad.

I wear Dunlop volleys … you get my drift.

To those who reckon gambling is a problem, take a good, hard look at yourself. Then tell us about “addiction” and how to spend money.
