Have a go at sports
The City of Karratha FUTURECLUBS Club Development program will be holding two Junior Community Sports Expos this month, giving children aged six to 15 years a chance to experience a number of the junior sports available in the city.
At each expo, children will be split into similar age groups to take part in a number of drills and games delivered by coaches, parents and players from various local sporting groups.
It’s great fun and great insight into what’s on offer in the upcoming sports seasons.
The first of the expos will be held in Karratha on Leisureplex oval three on Friday, March 18, from 4pm to 7pm before the second is held on Wickham Oval on Saturday, March 19, from 8am to 11am.
These expos are free to attend but registration is required.
All children must attend with a parent or guardian able to actively supervise throughout the expo.
To register, visit www. karratha.wa.gov.au or contact club development officer Natalie May on 9186 8555 or email Natalie.May@karratha.wa.gov.au.
Children can try a new sport at the expos.
