■ The newly formed representative body for the North West cattle industry will launch its new branding in Dampier next month.

Kimberley Pilbara Cattlemen’s Association executive officer Catherine Marriott said the organisation would unveil its new logo and website at a meeting on April 15.

Ms Marriott said the launch would also include an innovation day for pastoralists.

“We’re bringing in speakers on everything from new preg testing technologies and chemical spaying to drone technology,” she said.

Ms Marriott said the innovation day would be a chance to share knowledge and allow for the stimulus the industry had been waiting for.
