Warriors are outright ladder leaders after their recent win over Wreckers.

Wreckers gave up a 4-1 lead in the first round, all but put- ting them out of contention.

Warriors also won the second round 3-2 and Wreckers then won 3-2, but the first round had cost them and they went down 9-6 to Warriors.

Animals won their first match of the year 8-7 over new team Slayers. It was all locked up at seven apiece, with Animals captain Pennie Coventry taking the final game for the win.

Taverners were too good for Punishers and won their match 10-5 to put them in sec- ond place on the ladder, and finally Mongrels had an 8-7 win over Recaholics.

They led 8-3 after winning the first game of the last round, but from there failed to hurt the scoreboard as Recaholics took the next four games.
