Five clubs hit the spot in round two
Week two of the Karratha Dampier Men’s Darts Association was played over two venues, the Karratha Rec Club and the Dampier Mermaid Hotel.
At the Rec Club, the Mangrove Jacks hosted the Pythons and went down 3-6.
The Wizards were up against the Tigers and were beaten 3-6, while in the last game of the night, the Chalkies overcame the Magic 5-4.
At the Mermaid Hotel in Dam- pier, the Islanders hosted the Roebourne Warriors and came out on top 5-4 with three 180s thrown in the match.
Across the room, the Exports and the Iron Men, both one player short, put on an entertaining game with the Iron Men eventually winning 5-3.
The overall highest peg for the night across both venues was D. Hayes with a 120 and the highest average was 68.9 by T. Saylor.
A. Pratt, R. Beeton, J. Crawford and J. Little all scored 180s.
