3D print­ing at the li­brary

The City of Kar­ratha li­braries will be run­ning free craft ses­sions these April school hol­i­days.

Head along to your clos­est li­brary on April 14 and 21 for a morn­ing of cre­ative fun.

From 10.30am on Thurs­day, April 14, you will be craft­ing beau­ti­ful bird­houses, and the fol­low­ing week mak­ing wind-chimes which are fan­tas­tic dec­o­ra­tions for the back­yard.

These craft ses­sions are free to at­tend but reg­is­tra­tions are essen­tial as spa­ces are lim­ited.

The Kar­ratha Li­brary will also be hold­ing two 3D printed jewellery-mak­ing ses­sions on April 13 and 20, from 9.30am-10.30am and two 3D mod­els and de­sign ses­sions on April 15 and 22. Each of these ses­sions are $5.50 each child and book­ings are essen­tial.

The City of Kar­ratha li­braries also now boast a brand new on­line cat­a­logue mak­ing it easy to see which books, DVDs and mag­a­zines are avail­able to bor­row from home.

You can also use the cat­a­logue to re­serve and re­new loans, man­age your ac­count and stay up-to-date with the lat­est li­brary event in­for­ma­tion.
