Round 3 matches kick off
The third round of the home-andaway season of the Karratha District Junior Soccer competition was played on Saturday.
In the 14s age group, the first game saw the derby between the previously undefeated Nickol 2 and Nickol 3.

In the last game, Glory played Nickol 1 who, despite their best efforts, were not able to keep Glory out, with Glory running out the winners five to nil.
In the 18s age group, the early game saw another derby between Nickol 1 and Nickol 2.
This was a see-sawing match with Nickol 1 dominating early but not able to put the ball into the net.
Nickol 2 took their chances and were leading at the break.
In the second half, Nickol 2 continued to have the run of the play before Nickol 1 reapplied the pressure and scored two late goals.
However, they eventually ran out of time with Nickol 2 coming out the winners kicking five goals to Nickol 1’s two.
In the late game, Glory played Salt in what turned out to be a one-sided affair with Glory running out comfortable winners scoring a whopping 15 goals to one.
