Free movies at Nin­ga­loo Whale Shark Fes­ti­val

Pun­ters at the Nin­ga­loo Whale Shark Fes­ti­val are in­vited to at­tend the Sea­side Cin­ema on May 26 for a night of movies and en­ter­tain­ment.

The free event at Fed­er­a­tion Park will fea­ture movie en­ter­tain­ment, live mu­sic, food vans and a suit­case sale.

Live mu­sic will be pro­vided from 4:30pm by the Aus­tralian Army 20-piece big brass band and Ex­mouth lo­cal James Ab­ber­ley.

Ab­ber­ley has been mak­ing a name for him­self since re­leas­ing his first al­bum in 2011 and has sup­ported big Aus­tralian acts such as Xavier Rudd, Ash Grunwald and Paul Dempsey.

Be­fore the films start, the Nar­ra­tors of the Ship­wrecked Coast street the­atre stilt per­form­ers will en­ter­tain the crowd.

Sev­eral short films will screen from 6:45pm, in­clud­ing an­i­mated short film The Bub­ble cre­ated by Co­ral Bay’s Sadie James.

The main fea­ture of the night Rac­ing Ex­tinc­tion will screen from 7:15pm.
