More effort needed to keep town clean

Pilbara News - - Opinion -

While it’s nice to see a commitment to development around Dampier, there is a need to maintain what is already there.

Rubbish has been sitting at a certain spot in Dampier for far too long.

I did see the council’s rubbish picker crew the other day, but it seems they have missed this spot for a while now.

Is someone not doing their job properly or is it only certain areas in Dampier that are pegged for clean up?

I understand people shouldn’t be littering, but perhaps the need for more designated refuse areas could be fit into the budget.

So perhaps it’s time for more effort keeping the place clean before we embark on another development in the City of Karratha. Joel O’Brien, Dampier
