Karratha’s emergency service workers and their families gathered at the fire station on May 21 for the annual Triple Zero party.

There was plenty of food and drinks, a bouncy castle and a band that had the crowd dancing.

This year funds raised at the party went to the family of Mark Slocombe, a former Karratha volunteer fireman who died in Perth in March.

Karratha’s paramedics, police officers and firefighters raised their glasses in honour of Mr Slocombe after friend Dave Howell read out a small tribute.
