The fifth round of the home-andaway season of the Karratha District Junior Soccer competition was played on Saturday.

In the 14s age group, the first game saw Salt take on Nickol 1.

This was a keenly played match but despite Nickol 1 trying everything, Salt ran out the winners.

The second game of the day was definitely the most entertaining, with the previously undefeated Glory playing Nickol 2.

Glory took the early lead but then Nickol 2 hit back going into half-time, trailing by the narrowest of margins.

In the second half, Nickol hit back and took the lead, before Glory got an equalising goal.

From there, both teams had their chances but the game ended in a draw.

In the late game, Nickol 3 played Wickham and ran out comfortable winners.
