A stash of bikes be­lieved to be stolen has been found at a prop­erty in Wickham and po­lice are ask­ing for own­ers to come for­ward and claim them.

Roe­bourne po­lice ex­e­cuted a search war­rant at a Wickham prop­erty on Thurs­day, June 9 and seized 23 bikes, all of which they be­lieve were stolen.

First Class Con­sta­ble Jack Moore said of­fi­cers were act­ing on in­tel­li­gence of bikes al­legedly be­ing taken to the ad­dress and be­ing dis­man­tled for parts.

One bike has been claimed and a Wickham man has been charged with steal­ing it.

Roe­bourne po­lice are urg­ing any Wickham res­i­dents with a miss­ing bike to phone the sta­tion on 9182 1133 or at­tend dur­ing busi­ness hours.

Proof of own­er­ship, such as a re­ceipt of pur­chase or a pho­to­graph, will be re­quired
