Project encourages regional investment
A research project aimed at encouraging investment in four mid and north-western regions of WA will be launched in Perth later this month.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA said the idea was to create deeper engagement between investment project owners and capital markets.
In the launch booklet, up to 70 investment projects are profiled from the Mid West, Kimberley, Gascoyne, and Pilbara regions.
They represent commercial opportunities seeking capital and Government enabling infrastructure projects that may facilitate commercial investment opportunities.
Event attendees will receive a copy of the Mid and North Western Australia Investment Portfolio booklet, including the scope, investment timeframe and contact details for each profile.
The event will be formally launched by long-standing Federal MP Warren Truss.
Mr Truss recently retired as the deputy prime minister of Australia and the Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development.
The launch will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of WA, 180 Hay Street, East Perth, on Monday, July 25, from 2pm-5pm. Tickets cost $90. For information, go to cciwa. com/events/whatson.
