Pilbara News - - Sport - Rob Skinner

Warriors have redeemed themselves with a good win over Mongrels.

After an unexpected loss to Wreckers in the previous round, they came out strong against the ladder leaders and won the first round 4–1, and from there, they were never challenged as they went on to win 9–6.

Mongrels are still holding on to top position despite losing to Warriors and these teams will meet again in the first week of the finals.

Taverners did what was required for fourth position.

Recaholics went into the match with a respectable percentage lead given there are only three more rounds and a win would have almost ensured fourth position was theirs, but Taverners were too strong on the night.

The final 11-4 result was enough to put Taverners a match and 0.1 per cent ahead.

Wreckers defeated Animals, 9–6, while Punishers were too good for Slayer, 10–5.
