Karratha Senior High School Year 11 and 12 students and partners came dressed to impress for their school ball at the Karratha Leisureplex Function Room on Saturday night.

Some very glamorous-looking young men and women arrived at the venue in style in everything from limousines to Harley-Davidsons and vintage cars before walking the red carpet cheered on by a crowd of parents, siblings, teachers and friends.

This year’s ball theme of “Carnival” added an extra air of fun and frivolity to the event.

The student organising committee made the most of it with a head-in-the-hole photo board, table centrepieces resembling popcorn buckets, and even a photo booth.

Students also had some fun voting for winners in 10 different award categories including Selfie Queen, Class Clown and Miss Congeniality, as well as King and Queen of the Ball.

The school band and a DJ provided entertainment, while Onyx catered a three-course meal for guests.
