Pilbara News - - Lifestyle -

The school term is now in full swing and there are plenty of after-school activities to keep the kids entertained once that final school bell rings each day.

On Mondays there is the Discovery Club at the Wickham Library for eight to 12-year-olds, while IF Foundation presents its Performing Arts Academy at the Wickham Community Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays for various age groups.

On Wednesdays there is a skate afternoon at the Wickham Skate Park for 11-year-olds and onwards, while on Fridays pre-primary to Year 6 children can try their hand at mini-athletics for $10 at Wickham Oval. For the very little ones, Rhyme Time and Story Time run at 10.30am, Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively at Wickham Library, and for the high school kids The Base runs a pretty sweet program of after-school sessions.
