Two towns hit in spate of burglaries
Roebourne and Wickham community premises have been targeted by burglars in the past two weeks.
A group of youths allegedly burgled Roebourne Visitor Centre, a Sholl Street house, and Roebourne Hospital overnight on Tuesday, September 6.
Roebourne police acting officer-in-charge Sergeant Steve Taylor said police had last week arrested three 17-year-old boys and one 14-year-old boy over the incidents after receiving information about a person of interest.
Each of the accused has been charged with aggravated burglary and stealing.
One has been remanded in custody.
In a separate incident, the Wickham Picture Gardens outdoor cinema was also broken into two weeks ago.
Police have charged two young people with aggravated burglary over the offence.
On Monday, September 5, Ngarluma Yindjibarndi Foundation offices in Roebourne were broken into.
A vehicle and a set of keys were allegedly stolen.
Police inquiries into that case are ongoing.
