Activities galore for holidays
School holidays start next week and there is plenty on in the City of Karratha to keep kids entertained.
The Karratha Leisureplex has an extensive sports holiday program with some crafts thrown in for good measure.
Both morning and afternoon sessions are available and registrations are required.

The team are also putting on a dive-in movie on Monday, September 26 at 6.30pm.
Zootopia is the flick of choice this time and the screening is free with pool entry.
Wickham Recreation Precinct is offering one fun session each day of the school holidays from 10.30am to 3pm with a range of activities on for children to enjoy.
These programs are suitable for children aged four to 11 years and bookings are essential.

The City of Karratha libraries have a number of free craft sessions for kids to get along to.
Wickham Library will offer these sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays with separate times for five to seven-year-olds and eight to 12-year-olds.
Karratha, Roebourne and Dampier libraries will run their crafts on Thursdays only.
Registrations for these mornings are essential and you can book your child’s space by contacting your local library.
The Youth Shed and The Base are running their holiday programs for 11 to 18-year-olds again and this time activities include Laser Tag, crafts, a Leisureplex day out, Cossack day out and dive-in cinema.
Most of the activities are free but Laser Tag games are $10 a person.
