CHILDREN’S TALE COMES TO LIFE
The BFG, Friday, September 30, Moonrise Cinema, 7pm. Tickets $10-$16.
Here’s one for the kids.
The BFG plays this Friday night at Moonrise Cinema.
Pack a picnic and a rug and enjoy a night out under the stars in front of the big screen.
Ten-year-old Sophie is in for the adventure of a lifetime when she meets the Big Friendly Giant (Mark Rylance).
Naturally scared at first, the young girl soon realises the 24-foot behemoth is actually quite gentle and charming.
As their friendship grows, Sophie’s presence attracts the unwanted attention of Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater and other giants. After travelling to London, Sophie and the BFG must convince Queen Victoria to help them get rid of all the bad giants once and for all.
Tickets for The BFG are on sale at www.moonrisecinema.com.au.
They will also be available at the gate on the night should if not sold out beforehand.
Moonrise Cinema is located at the TAFE campus off Dampier Highway and is proudly presented by the City of Karratha, Woodside Pluto LNG and Rio Tinto.
