Pub death accused on bail for third time
Two men charged in relation to the death of a man outside the Newman Hotel in August have been released on bail for the third time.
Nathan Haynes, 45, was allegedly punched and then kicked in the head outside of the pub, which led to his death.
Saimone Lausii Kala, 26, and Oueni Pomana, 44, appeared at Newman Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday last week charged with grievous bodily harm in relation to the incident but were remanded on strict bail conditions until their next court appearance on November 15.
Friends of Mr Haynes said although he had spent most of his adult life working in the mining industry, his first love was horses, having been an apprentice jockey in his younger years.
