Residents urged to have say
Regional residents are urged to have their say and help shape the future of their region by completing the Living in the Regions 2016 survey.
Regional Development Minister Terry Redman said the survey was a chance for residents to share their perceptions and experiences of living in regional WA.
“Finding out more about residents, what attracts them to live in the regions and what they like best about their region, are simple but crucial elements that are instrumental in supporting the ongoing sustainability of our regions,” he said.
It is anticipated government agencies, private organisations and community groups will use the survey findings to support decision-making and policy development across regional WA.
The survey is available online at drd.wa.gov.au/Regions2016.
Hard copies will also be distributed by mail at random across regional WA.
