Ap­pli­ca­tions for grants worth up to $20,000 for com­mu­nity-led sui­cide preven­tion pro­grams are open.

The State Government last week an­nounced $200,000 would be made avail­able for a new round of sui­cide preven­tion grants for com­mu­nity-based pro­grams that pro­mote peer sup­port and bet­ter well­be­ing.

In­dige­nous-led pro­grams that en­cour­age cul­tural heal­ing are one of the fo­cuses of the new round of grants, as well as sup­port for peo­ple who are part of the LGBTI com­mu­nity.

Ap­pli­ca­tions for the grants are open un­til Novem­ber 14 at 5pm. For more in­for­ma­tion or to ap­ply, visit mhc.wa.gov.au.
